Ghana Fund is a team of highly experienced experts providing a wide range of services to Government, businesses and the international business community. The Economic and Trade Missions organised by the Ghana Fund are designed to bring about exponential macro-economic growth and improved ways of international business engagements. Missions are made up of both inward and outward delegations with sector-specific interests. Almost all missions promote the export of goods and services from Ghana, and also, conduct seminars and meetings with government officials and business persons.


Trade Missions will primarily focus on the mobility industry as a catalyst for the GDP growth of the economy of Ghana. Other sectors that will be explored are:

  • Road Safety and Automotive Parts Manufacturing and Services
  • Manufacturing of public transport vehicles including buses and cars, agricultural tractors and vehicles
  • Payment Processing, Payment Gateways, IT Services, etc.
  • Gold Depository, Securities and Related Financial Services
  • Food Depository and Distribution
  • Medical Facilities and Healthcare Services
  • Promote the export of goods produced or assembled in Ghana
  • Franchising for the enhancement of export of goods from Ghana.

 

The Ghana Fund Trade Missions strategically will establish a win-win economic growth opportunity between Ghana and our host country, and will foster a new economic development paradigm for future prosperity and a sustained economic cooperation between the countries.


Ghana Fund organises Economic and Trade Missions in collaboration with in-country business agents who have sufficient knowledge of the local business environment and able to undertake any needed research required for the fulfilment of the objectives of the missions. The agents ensure that match-making is efficient and result-oriented guaranteeing you of new trade leads, partnership opportunities and international sales.

  • This is a result-oriented Trade Mission. It seeks to generate over a billion euros in exports from Ghana with corresponding employment opportunities for Ghanaians.
  • The Trade Mission seeks to mobilise over five billion euros for various manufacturing industries and businesses in Ghana.
  • An opportunity to meet industry key players that matter in developing successful businesses in Austria.
  • Have the opportunity to attend business meetings with government officials along with industry and business leaders for first-hand experiences and insights regarding opportunities and challenges in doing business in Austria.
  • Understand investor insights, and redefine and align business growth strategies with investor insights.
  • Advance specific projects and solidify business strategy to attract potential partners and investors.
  • Matched one-on-one meetings will place you directly in contact with potential investors and business partners.
  • Ghana Fund will assist you with all your planning, and provide coordination during and after the trade mission.

  • Participation is limited to thirty (30) excluding government officials and media practitioners. Only three (3) media houses may be allowed to participate.
  • Dead-line for registration of interest to participate is 120 days before trade mission commencement date.
  • Registration of Interest to Participate must be accompanied with a non-refundable booking fee of GHC2,500 or US$200 (payable in cedis).
  • Dead-line for the payment of participation fee is 90 days before trade mission commencement date.
  • The Participation Fee is £4,120. You pay £3,708 if payment is made before 1st August 2024.
  • The Participation Fee covers diplomatic business briefings, return air ticket in economy class, hotel, conferences and meetings with trade organisations, and match-making meetings.

All applicants must submit a completed and signed Trade Mission Application including adequate information on their products and/or services, primary business objectives, and goals for participation.

Submitting an application is indication of your interest to participate in the trade mission.  A registration fee of GH¢2,500 must be paid along with the submission of the Registration of Interest to Participate to be deemed a valid application. We would review your application, and once you are invited to join the mission, the payment of Trade Mission Participation fees becomes due along with the signature of the participation agreement in order to participate in the trade mission.
